Shardul Vihan is 15 and already an Asiad medallist

He is in 9th standard, just 15 years old and already an Asian Games silver medallist. Indian double trap shooter Shardul Vihan joined the likes of Lakshay Sheoran and Saurabh Chaudhary as the latest Indian teenage shooter on the podium at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. Here's a closer look at this teenage shooting sensation:

Shardul Vihan (Double Trap shooter)

- Age: 15 (Born in 2003)

- Hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh

- Began competing in 2015

- In 9th grade

- Won silver medal in Men's Double Trap at 2018 Asian Games

- Shot a total of 73 in the final, finishing one point behind the gold medallist

- Finished 6th at the ISSF Junior World Championship in Moscow in 2017

- Won 4 gold medals at the 61st National shotgun Championship in New Delhi in 2017
