Asia Cup: Virat rested, Khaleel gets India call

NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) selection committee met in Mumbai on Saturday to pick India's squad for the coming Asia Cup and decided to rest Virat Kohli, while handing over captaincy reins to Rohit Sharma.
The selectors have also given a maiden call-up to 20-year-old rookie U-19 Rajasthan pacer Khaleel Ahmed, who played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last edition of the Indian Premier League.
Meanwhile, batsmen Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey and Kedar Jadhav have been recalled to the ODI squad.
